πŸ“˜ What is an HSN Code & Why is it Required in GST?

The Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) is an internationally standardized system of names and numbers to classify traded products developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO). Under Indian GST law, businesses are required to mention valid 4-digit, 6-digit, or 8-digit HSN codes on tax invoices, e-Way bills, and in Table 12 of GSTR-1 returns.

Use HSNCodeFinder to easily determine the correct HSN code, verify CBIC GST rates (0%, 0.25%, 3%, 5%, 12%, 18%, 28%, or 40%), calculate tax, and file returns.
